*Pause "OFF" when switching the level*: Due to fan motors' inertia, as a rule there is a limit to how short the time intervals for switching the fan levels can be, i. e. there is a limit to how quickly the fan speed can be varied. If the fan controller is working in automatic mode and the fan control has been selected in alternating mode, the old fan level is switched off before the new fan level is switched on. "Pause "OFF" when switching the level" can be set here. If the threshold value is exceeded or undershot and the old fan level has been switched off, the timer for the waiting time will start. The device only switches the new fan level automatically when the waiting time has elapsed. This parameter is visible only if "Fan control" = "via relay outputs" is set on the General HVAC parameter page.

*Dwell time for level change-over*: Due to fan motors' inertia, as a rule there is a limit to how short the time intervals for switching the fan levels can be, i. e. there is a limit to how quickly the fan speed can be varied. If the fan controller is working in automatic mode and the fan control has been selected hierarchically, the adjustable "Dwell time when changing the level" is observed when the levels are changed. The timer starts the waiting time if the threshold value is exceeded or not reached. The device only switches the new fan level automatically when the waiting time has elapsed. This parameter is visible only if "Fan control" = "via relay outputs" is set on the General HVAC parameter page.
